We Need Your Prayers!!!

If you have seen Misty's blog, you already know some of the story. My niece, Jade Ellison Ranagan, went into the hospital on Sunday/Monday morning and delivered little Timothy "TJ" James Ranagan at 30 1/2 weeks due to Preeclampsia/H.E.L.L.P. Syndrome on 10/15/08 at 10:25 p.m. Believe it or not little TJ is doing very well, tho very small at 3 lbs 13 oz & 16 inches... he is off the respirator, IV and feeding tube... they are giving him oxygen through a c-pap machine to allow him to expend less energy... so pretty much he is doing great under the circumstances, but is by no means out of the woods.

However Miss Jade is seriously ill... after delivery her platelet count was at 61 with a very elevated liver enzyme, then her platelet count went to 65, then 85... we were joyfully thinking things were heading in the right direction, then yesterday Jade developed a fever, her blood pressure continued to rise, her platelets fell to 36 and her liver enzymes already dangerously high, quadrupled. Needless to say, she is seriously ill and in need of prayers on hers, TJ's and her family's behalf.

Our family has organized a family fast for tomorrow, Friday - Sept. 19th and would appreciate all prayers and fasting on their behalf.

Thank you in advance for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers that have been extended to our family.

All my love,
Kimberly

Thank you so much Kim for doing this...Without the kindness my family (in Utah) has recieved from family and friends, I don't know if I would be able to make it through the day without having a nervous break down...I really want to be there, but it's nice to know that every one's still here to help out...Thank you!

Thank you for organizing this Kimberly. You are an awesome example to me. I know they will do well but it sure is scary waiting for it. Love you all, Renee
